The General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) published a transitional VAT guide for increasing the standard VAT rate from 5% to 15% effective from 1 July 2020. Where the guide includes the proposed treatments to deal with the contracts and invoices issued during the transitional period along with some illustrative examples.
